Wednesday, only two weeks after we had started the choir, we had a concert for the breast cancer day. Luckily, a lot of students had been in the choir for long enough to know the songs and we had rehearsed a few times, so everything went fine. We sang: Bridge over troubled water – mas que nada (in Portuguese) – Season of love – Oh happy day. 

I only finished class a few minutes before the concert so it was quite stressful, but I think the crowd liked it. We then went to a tapas bar where the Spanish students made us try specialties, and we then finished the night in a karaoke bar. Another amazing evening!


Mercredi, deux semaines à peine après avoir commencé le chœur, on avait un concert prévu pour le jour du cancer du sein. Heureusement, beaucoup d’étudiants en faisaient partie depuis suffisamment longtemps pour connaître les chansons et on avait répété quelques fois, donc tout s’est bien passé. On a chanté : Bridge over troubled water – mas que nada (en portugais) – Season of love – Oh happy day. 

J’ai terminé les cours quelques minutes à peine avant le concert, ce qui était un peu stressant, mais je pense que le public a apprécié. Ensuite, on est allés à un bar à tapas, où les étudiants espagnols nous ont fait goûter des spécialités, et on a fini la soirée dans un bar de karaoké. Une autre soirée incroyable !
