And our last museum before going back to Murcia: the punic wall. I must admit that I was quite disappointed to start with because of the disproportion between the size of the building and the exhibition. It is only towards the end of the visit that I understood that the size of the building was supposed to represent the size of the former wall when it was built. However, although the rooms can seem quite empty, the information given is interesting. We can also walk on a glass floor to have a look at the wall and the crypt before going down the stairs to visit them.

After a full day in Cartagena visiting, we are all tired but very happy. 


Et notre dernier musée avant de regagner Murcie : la muraille punique. Je dois dire que j’ai tout d’abord été déçue en raison de la disproportion entre la taille du bâtiment et celle de l’exposition. Ce n’est qu’à la fin que j’ai compris que les dimensions du bâtiment étaient censées être celles de la muraille d’origine. Cependant, même si les salles peuvent sembler plutôt vides, les informations sont très intéressantes. De plus, on peut marcher sur un sol en verre pour admirer la muraille et la crypte avant de descendre les escaliers pour les visiter.
Après une journée complète de visites à Carthagène, nous sommes toutes fatiguées mais très contentes.
